Visitor statistics increase year on year

This feature of the Var Village Voice website provides information about visitor statistics, with full pictures for the years 2006 to 2011, followed by a month by month record for 2012 (these will start at the end of January). Please click on the calendars to view a particular period.

There has been a steady but consistent rise in visitors since 2006; from 24,817 that year to 48,245 in 2010. Of the 2011 full-year figure, a hefty 31,028 were so-called unique visitors. This term describes units of traffic to the site but counts each visitor only once in the time frame of the report. Unique visitor statistics are helpful to advertisers as a measure of a site's true audience size, equivalent to the term 'reach' used in other media.
